A Note on Color

Safari 3 and Firefox 3 can both display websites using the built-in color profiles that are enbedded in higher-quality JPEG files.

On Safari, this is automatic.

On Firefox, you can enable this behavior by following these simpe steps:

1) open a new tab (CTRL+T or CMD+T)

2) type about:config in the address bar, then press enter

3) accept the warning dialog box (funny)

4) search for gfx.color_management

5) double-click that line item; it should change from false to true

6) close the tab

That's it! After this, the web will look a whole lot less garish and blown out.
